EUC - End User Computing - Lead - EPR Programme
Location: Hybrid - approximately 1 day per week onsite
Contract: 6 months initially, potential to extend
Start: Early October
Our client, a consultancy supporting major public sector clients, is seeking a EUC Lead to support the wider EUC readiness and deployment activities for one of their London-based EPR upgrade programmes.
The successful candidate will lead on device strategy, technical readiness, deployment planning, and EUC delivery, working closely with the EPR programme, Digital Nursing, Project, and Technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Review the existing device estate against the technical requirements.
- Assess device builds, configurations, compatibility, and technical risks.
- Lead device testing and produce readiness assessments and remediation plans.
- Develop ward device blueprints, identifying device types, quantities, and locations.
- Develop device deployment and replacement plans for pilot and rollout wards.
- Support digital whiteboard and Smart Page design and proof-of-concept activities.
- Assess dependencies across Active Directory and MAM/MDM.
- Provide specialist advice on device selection, standardisation, and procurement.
- Support project plans, RAID logs, reporting, and programme governance.
- Coordinate EUC activities across Digital Nursing, Project, and Technical teams.
- Maintain EUC actions and activities through Freshservice.
- Develop and update relevant policies and procedures.

We Are Looking For Experience In
- NHS EPR or major digital transformation programmes in a EUC lead role.
- EUC / End User Computing leadership.
- Device estate strategy and large-scale deployment.
- NHS clinical or ward technology environments.
- MDM/MAM and Active Directory.
- Technical assurance and hardware testing.
- Programme governance and stakeholder management.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced EUC Lead to play a key role in preparing an NHS device estate for a major EPR upgrade.
