The successful candidate will be very much involved in the team’s delivery and maintenance of client software, the development and support of our Azure platform; as well as other project work.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

EUC Development continues to work on delivering solutions that enable the organisation to provide effective and efficient working practices that act as an enabler for police officers and police staff alike. The most important underlying principles of delivering on this ambition is to ensure that the platform is secure and functional. With an ever-growing technology stack, cyber security plays an essential role in the delivery of every technical solution. As such, the team has a requirement to operate a mandatory on-call rota, for which an allowance is paid, and successful applicants will join after a period of integration.

At Kent Police and Essex Police, you'll be part of a friendly, diverse and supportive team within one of the UK's largest police collaborations. While we are a large organisation, we maintain a close-knit culture where teamwork, innovation and personal contribution are valued. We offer:

  • Flexible working and flexi-time arrangements
  • Generous annual leave
  • Attractive pension schemes
  • Wellbeing support services
  • Access to a range of recreational and staff benefits.

Most importantly, the work you do will have a real impact. By helping to improve services and technology across the organisation, you'll contribute to greater efficiency, support frontline policing, and help keep our communities safe. This is a rewarding opportunity to develop your career while making a meaningful difference to the public we serve.
