EUI Asset Servicing – Operations Analyst
Responsibilities
- Event creation – ensuring corporate events are loaded within the CREST system accurately and on time
- Open transaction management – ensuring all events which are created are set up to facilitate CREST claims or CREST transformations as required
- Performing all daily tasks associated with our various control checks and daily processes
- End to end processing for our international service, from event creation through to distribution of proceeds, with some exposure to cash, tax and voting processes
- Working closely with our business operations team and in some cases directly with our clients, in answering asset servicing related enquiries
- Developing a broad knowledge of CREST functionality, processes and applications used
- Reviewing existing controls and operating procedures
- Ensuring that operational issues and client enquiries are resolved and followed up in a timely manner. Engaging with other supporting departments when necessary and escalating issues to management where required
- Assisting and delivering on compliance and risk-related tasks, including the timely write-ups of risk events and completion of risk event action plans
- Demonstrating flexibility, versatility, and team collaboration by assisting with other tasks and deliverables within the Asset Servicing team to ensure coverage if requested to do so
- Working with EUI operational teams to remove inefficient processes and risks, seeking to offer recommendations to improve processes
- Embracing the opportunity for self-development, asking why and investigating further when things are not clear
