The Role

Key Responsibilities

Customer Engagement & Technical Leadership

  • Act as Kyndryl's senior technical advisor in customer meetings, workshops, executive briefings, and strategy sessions.
  • Establish credibility with CIOs, CTOs, Infrastructure Leaders, Real Estate Executives, Facilities Leaders, and Data Center Operations teams.
  • Lead technical discovery sessions and identify customer business challenges, growth objectives, and infrastructure requirements.
  • Provide expert guidance on data center modernization, AI infrastructure strategies, colocation solutions, and operational transformation.

Opportunity Development & Sales Support

  • Support Business Development teams in identifying, qualifying, and advancing strategic growth opportunities.
  • Participate in account planning, opportunity reviews, client presentations, and executive discussions.
  • Help shape customer requirements and translate business objectives into actionable solution strategies.
  • Develop technical positioning and differentiation strategies that highlight Kyndryl's capabilities and value proposition.
  • Support proposal development, RFI/RFP responses, and strategic pursuits.

AI Infrastructure & Data Center Solution Development

  • Advise customers on:
    • AI-ready facility design
    • GPU and accelerator infrastructure deployment
    • High-density power and cooling strategies
    • Liquid cooling technologies
    • Capacity planning and growth forecasting
    • Data center modernization initiatives
    • Colocation strategy and site selection
    • Sustainability and energy optimization
    • Data center operations and resiliency
  • Collaborate with technical specialists, consulting teams, and delivery organizations to develop integrated solutions.

Industry & Market Leadership

  • Build thought leadership content including white papers, presentations, customer success stories, and market insights.
  • Develop relationships with hyperscalers, colocation providers, hardware manufacturers, power and cooling providers, and ecosystem partners.
  • Provide ongoing market intelligence regarding emerging technologies, competitor activity, and industry trends.
  • Represent Kyndryl at industry conferences, customer events, analyst briefings, and partner engagements.

Who You Are

Required Qualifications

  • 15+ years of experience in data center operations, engineering, consulting, design, facilities management, or infrastructure strategy.
  • Proven experience interacting directly with enterprise customers and executive stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of data center design, operations, infrastructure, and modernization programs.
  • Experience supporting business development, pre-sales, solution architecture, or consulting engagements.
  • Strong executive communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
  • Experience supporting complex, multi-stakeholder pursuits and transformation initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting AI infrastructure deployments or large-scale compute environments.
  • Knowledge of GPU infrastructure, high-performance computing, and accelerated workloads.
  • Experience with hyperscale, enterprise, and colocation environments.
  • Direct experience with mission-critical facility operations.
  • Uptime Institute, EPI, or equivalent industry certifications.
  • Experience advising customers on sustainability, resiliency, and capacity planning initiatives.
  • MBA, Engineering Degree, Computer Science Degree, or equivalent experience.
