European Brand Marketing Manager
Macgregor Black are partnering with an established international consumer products business on the search for a European Brand Marketing Manager. This is a permanent role based in UK.
As the European Brand Marketing Manager, you will help shape and deliver brand and consumer marketing activity across EMEA for a portfolio of well-known entertainment and pop-culture properties. Working with colleagues across international markets, you will bring global plans to life locally, strengthen brand presence and support commercial growth. The role involves close collaboration with sales, licensing, retail and operational teams, alongside external partners and creative agencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day marketing activity for a portfolio of licensed consumer brands across EMEA, ensuring plans support brand and commercial goals.
- Work with global and local colleagues to coordinate product, marketing and sales priorities across markets.
- Use sales performance, market trends, consumer insight and competitor activity to identify opportunities and inform brand plans.
- Adapt and deliver integrated consumer campaigns, briefing agencies and suppliers on digital, media and PR activity.
- Contribute to seasonal pricing discussions and support the development of product and brand presentations.
- Present ranges and marketing plans to retail customers, licensing partners and internal stakeholders.
- Prepare materials for regional sales meetings, seasonal showcases, industry events and trade fairs.
- Support the planning and delivery of showroom displays, event spaces and product samples across the UK and Europe.
- Produce brand line lists, launch calendars, sales materials and presentation decks.
- Coordinate trade marketing programmes, including point-of-sale materials, merchandising and retail activations.
- Evaluate campaign performance and return on investment, using findings to shape future activity.
- Plan and deliver PR and influencer initiatives within agreed budgets, monitoring their impact.
- Manage allocated brand and marketing budgets, ensuring spend is tracked effectively.
- Build strong working relationships with licensing partners, regional teams and key retail contacts.
- Coordinate product imagery, information and listing requirements for retailers and partners.
- Assist with sales and marketing reviews, forecasting and information required by licensing partners.
- Work cross-functionally with sales, operations, demand planning and finance to ensure plans are aligned.
- Travel internationally when required for trade fairs, partner meetings and retail visits.

What are we looking for?

- Around 3–5 years’ marketing experience within consumer goods; toy, licensing or entertainment experience would be particularly relevant.
- Understanding of licensed brands and how to translate brand guidelines and audience insight into market-facing activity.
- Experience contributing to integrated marketing campaigns across digital, media, PR or influencer channels.
- Commercial awareness, including familiarity with pricing, merchandising and category performance.
- Comfortable reviewing sales and market data and using it to make informed recommendations.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with confidence presenting to internal and external audiences.
- Able to manage multiple projects independently, prioritise deadlines and take ownership of delivery.
- Confident using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- A degree in marketing, business or a related discipline is beneficial, or equivalent practical experience.
- An interest in gaming, entertainment and popular culture would be an advantage.
- International or multi-market experience is desirable, alongside flexibility for occasional meetings outside standard hours.
