Data Centre Fibre Connectivity - Europe

Build a market. Shape a brand. Drive growth across Europe's data centre industry.

Are you a commercially minded business developer with experience in fibre optics, structured cabling, connectivity, telecoms or data centre infrastructure?

Do you enjoy creating opportunities rather than inheriting accounts?

This is an opportunity to join a global cable manufacturer and play a pivotal role in establishing its presence within the rapidly growing European data centre market.

We're looking for an ambitious, entrepreneurial sales professional to lead the growth of a portfolio that includes high fibre-count optical cabling, connectorised fibre solutions and data centre connectivity infrastructure. This is not a traditional product sales role. You'll be responsible for identifying opportunities, developing market strategy, building customer relationships and establishing the business as a credible alternative to long-established industry incumbents.

The Opportunity

The European data centre market represents a significant growth opportunity, and our client is investing heavily in building its presence across the region.

Backed by substantial European manufacturing capability and a highly competitive supply chain, you'll have the platform to challenge established suppliers and create new commercial opportunities with:

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
