Project Manager - Product Development & Day 2 Markets
£850 per day | Inside IR35 | Contract
I'm currently recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to join a major specialty insurance transformation programme, focused on the development and launch of products across multiple international markets.
This is a key role working on Day 2 products - products that were not able to be launched as part of the initial Day 1 implementation and now need to be developed, matured and operationalised.
The role will involve working across multiple countries and markets, so this is an opportunity for someone with genuine international specialty insurance experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of product development and maturation activity across multiple markets.
- Manage products that require further development following the initial Day 1 launch.
- Work closely with existing Business Analysts to maintain, prioritise and deliver the product roadmap.
- Manage process and system-orientated change across the product lifecycle.
- Coordinate activity across multiple countries, potentially working across several markets simultaneously.
- Ensure product requirements are clearly defined, prioritised and delivered.
- Manage stakeholders across business, technology, product and operational teams.
- Ensure products are appropriately developed and operationalised within each market.
- Drive delivery through to implementation, ensuring dependencies and risks are effectively managed.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
