Want to know a little about us?

We're the European growth engine of Mitsubishi HC Capital UK PLC, delivering smart vendor finance solutions across five countries—and expanding fast. Our tailored asset finance programs help Mitsubishi group businesses and partners unlock opportunity and scale. Driven by entrepreneurial energy and collaborative teamwork, we thrive in a dynamic, rewarding environment.

What does the role involve?

As our HR Business Partner, you'll provide hands-on, operational HR support to a business area of around 40 colleagues, spanning across the UK, Finland, Netherlands & Republic of Ireland. Working closely with senior leaders and managers to support in building the HR strategy, understanding their people, their challenges and what they need from HR.

This is a strategic and hands-on operational HRBP role. You'll work across the HR generalist remit, providing pragmatic advice and support while also getting involved in projects and wider Group HR activity.

You'll report to the HR Director initially, giving you the opportunity to embed yourself within the wider HR team, build strong relationships across the HR function and get under the skin of the area you'll support. Once established, you'll also have the opportunity to contribute to wider HR projects and initiatives across the Group.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
