European Patent (EP) Paralegal – Exciting Contract Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the drafting, filing, and management of European patent applications.
- Support patent attorneys with administrative and procedural tasks related to European patent law.
- Ensure timely submission of patent documents and manage deadlines efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with legal standards.
- Liaise with clients, patent offices, and internal teams to facilitate smooth patent prosecution processes.

Required Skills
- Proven experience as a patent paralegal, ideally within European patent procedures.
- Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Familiarity with patent management software and legal research tools.
Nice To Have Skills
- Knowledge of additional patent jurisdictions beyond Europe.
- Experience with patent docketing systems and electronic filing platforms.
- Strong understanding of patent prosecution workflows and legal terminology.

Preferred Education And Experience
- Relevant paralegal qualification or equivalent professional experience in intellectual property.
- Minimum of 2+ years of paralegal experience in a legal or patent environment.
- Please note: Law degrees without paralegal experience are not suitable for this role.
