Key Responsibilities

We're looking for an experienced European Real Estate Research Analyst to:

  • Join and contribute to our leading European Real Estate research franchise
  • Lead coverage of listed real estate companies and REITs across Continental Europe and the UK
  • Produce company-specific and thematic research on key trends shaping European property markets, including occupier demand, capital markets, valuations, development activity, sustainability and regulation
  • Build and maintain detailed financial and valuation models to assess historical performance and forecast earnings, cash flows, NAVs and asset values
  • Provide investment recommendations based on fundamental analysis, valuation methodologies and risk assessments
  • Engage with management teams, industry participants and investors to develop differentiated investment insights
  • Help further strengthen a leading client franchise among institutional investors globally

The team

You'll be working in the European Equity Research team in London, focusing on the European Real Estate sector. We provide investors with in-depth analysis and investment insights across a broad universe of listed property companies and REITs. Our research supports both local and global investors and contributes to the success of our Global Markets franchise and the firm more broadly. As a member of an established and highly regarded team, you'll play an important role in delivering differentiated sector views, generating investment ideas and maintaining strong client relationships.

Your Skills And Experience

  • Experienced equity research analyst with ideally 3-5 years of experience covering real estate, real assets or related sectors
  • Strong understanding of European real estate markets, property fundamentals and listed real estate business models
  • Proven ability to build and maintain detailed financial, valuation and forecasting models
  • Strong knowledge of real estate valuation metrics, including NAV, EPRA measures, cap rates, cash flow analysis and development economics
  • Adept at communicating investment views both in writing and verbally in an articulate and confident manner
  • Inquisitive, highly organized and capable of working independently while collaborating effectively within a team
  • Strong relationships with corporates, investors and industry participants would be an advantage
  • Fluency in an additional European language would be beneficial but is not essential
