European Tax Manager

Required Skills

  • Qualified Accountant and/or Chartered Tax Adviser with extensive experience in tax compliance within a multinational or practice setting.
  • Strong knowledge of US tax reporting, including quarterly provisions, tax contingency, and projections using tax technology.
  • Proficiency in preparing corporate income tax returns and liaising with tax authorities.
  • Solid understanding of accounting for tax, including tax disclosures and statutory financial statement requirements.
  • Excellent organizational skills, accountability, and a collaborative mindset.
  • Fluency in English; effective communication across diverse teams.

Nice To Have Skills

  • Experience with transfer pricing documentation and analysis.
  • Knowledge of indirect taxes and European tax legislative updates.

  • Exposure to working with external advisers and cross-border stakeholders.

Preferred Education And Experience

  • Relevant professional qualification (e.g., ACA, CTA).
  • Several years of hands-on tax compliance experience in multiple jurisdictions within Europe.
  • Understanding of accounting principles, statutory audits, and financial statement disclosures in at least one European country.
  • Experience with internal tax advisory support and project participation within a corporate environment.
