£52,500 + bonus + benefits
We are working with a rapidly growing, forward-thinking organisation investing heavily in its EV charging and installation capabilities. This is an opportunity for an experienced EV Charging Operations Manager to take a key role in developing and scaling an EV installation operation.
You’ll combine your electrical and EV charging knowledge with strong people and operational management skills, helping to develop installation processes, manage technical standards and support the business in achieving the accreditations required to grow its EV offering.
This isn’t a role where everything has already been built for you - We’re looking for somebody who enjoys creating structure, developing new ways of working and getting involved in the detail when needed.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Take ownership of key areas of the EV charging installation operation.
- Help develop and implement new EV installation workstreams, processes and workflows.
- Support the development and management of a network of EV charger installers.
- Oversee installation quality, compliance and technical standards.
- Support the business in obtaining and maintaining relevant industry licences and accreditations.
- Work with key stakeholders towards NICEIC accreditation.
- Support applications and requirements relating to OZEV and MCS.
- Ensure electrical and EV charging activities are delivered safely and compliantly.
- Help establish processes around installer performance, compliance and quality.
- Coach, train and support installers and wider team members.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and customer experience.
- Support the continued growth of the EV charging division.
- As the operation expands, help develop a structure of regional and lead installers.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
