Role Description
We are currently seeking an EV Installer based in the Midlands area.
Your primary role will be for the installation of Electric Vehicle charging equipment in customers’ homes and at Residential, Commercial, and Industrial premises to current wiring regulations BS7671 and the IET code of practice. You will be responsible for the installation, testing, and commissioning of market-leading charging equipment.
- Upon completion of the job, you will be required to complete the necessary NICEIC certification via the online portal ready to be signed off by our QS.
- You will also be responsible for managing your stock and carrying out weekly stock takes.
- You will be responsible for collecting materials and stock from one of our local electrical distributors based in your area.
- As we operate nationwide, there will be an element of travel involved; any potential candidate must be willing to travel, and at times stay away from home.
- As a representative of the company, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining the network of Electric Vehicle Charging Points, while representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.
- Customer engagement and service in this role, including the technical skills to complete the installations, is of the utmost importance to us, so you must have the ability to communicate effectively with our customers at all levels.
- A keen attention to detail and a focus on Health and Safety is also paramount for the business; therefore, you will be expected to maintain a high level of health & safety awareness and keep up to date with relevant training, which will be assigned to you via our H&S manager.

Mainly Monday to Friday role, although on occasions will include weekend work.
About You
We are looking for but not limited to:
- At least 5 years of experience as an electrician, preferably within the Commercial sector.
- At least 1 year of experience within the EV industry.
- Experience of 3-phase installations.
- Experience of the Inspection and Testing of electrical installations.
- You will be required to complete 2 jobs on average per day for residential installations, whilst working individually or as part of a team on larger commercial projects.
- Ability to work on your own initiative or as part of a team.
- Have your own hand and small power tools.
- Must have a good understanding of current regulations and industry standards.
- The ideal candidate must be an enthusiastic individual with the ability to work on their own initiative with a keen eye for detail. You will have a strong background in dealing with customers face to face.

Requirements
- City & Guilds EV Installation (2919 or equivalent)
- Inspection and Testing 2391
- NVQ level 3 in electrical installation
- 18th Edition BS7671 wiring regulations qualification
- ECS Gold Card
- Must hold a full clean UK driving license
- Previous experience within the residential and commercial sector
