United Infrastructure’s Power Division

United Infrastructure’s Power Division is growing its capability across the rapidly developing electric vehicle infrastructure market, and we are looking for an experienced EV Project Manager to join the team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager with experience delivering EV charging infrastructure, electrical infrastructure, power distribution or associated construction projects.

You will take ownership of projects from mobilisation and design through procurement, construction, commissioning and handover, working closely with clients, design teams, contractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders.

We are looking for someone who is commercially aware, technically capable and comfortable taking ownership of projects in a fast-moving environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full lifecycle of EV infrastructure projects from initial mobilisation through to completion and handover.
  • Develop and manage project programmes, budgets, resources and delivery plans.
  • Coordinate design, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning activities.
  • Manage electrical contractors, civil contractors, subcontractors and specialist suppliers.
  • Coordinate grid connections, electrical infrastructure and associated civil works.
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.
  • Manage client relationships and act as the primary project point of contact.
  • Lead project meetings and provide clear progress, financial and risk reporting.
  • Identify project risks and implement effective mitigation and recovery plans.
  • Manage variations, change control and commercial issues.
  • Work closely with commercial and engineering teams to maintain project profitability.
  • Coordinate with Distribution Network Operators, consultants and other project stakeholders where required.
  • Ensure all works comply with relevant technical, safety, environmental and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee testing, commissioning, snagging and final handover.
  • Ensure project documentation, O&M information and completion records are delivered correctly.
  • Capture lessons learned and identify opportunities to improve project delivery.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
