EV Qualified Supervisor

The EV Qualified Supervisor will take responsibility for overseeing the installation and inspection of our EV ChargePoint Installations across the UK. You will be a competent electrician with a keen eye for detail, a team player and will strive for perfection.

You will be capable of overseeing our projects to ensure our installations are BS7671 compliant, maintaining high standards, ensuring works are delivered on time, within budget and the customer experience remains of paramount importance throughout project delivery.

Essential:

  • Proven experience in Electrical Supervision and leading a team.
  • Experience working with DC rapid chargers.
  • C&G L3 Electrotechnical Qualification
  • C&G BS7671:2018 Wiring Regulations
  • C&G 2391 (or equivalent) Inspection and Testing
  • C&G 2919 (or equivalent) Electric Vehicle Charging
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • JIB/CSCS Card
  • EVCI Experience
  • Strong Leadership and management skills

Responsibilities:

  • Support the EV Project Managers to plan and deploy resources for EV ChargePoint installations.
  • Manage the daily planners for our EV Installers.
  • Assist the EV Project Managers to produce take off sheets from designs and procure all relevant electrical installation materials.
  • Ensure all installations are compliant with BS7671, using their own competencies along with specific systems and processes designed to manage the quality of work.
  • Compile/review/challenge site specific RAMS and Programmes of Work.
  • Carry out Health & Safety Audits and Toolbox Talks with Installers on the ground.
  • Prepare, review and sign off NICEIC Electrical Installation Certificates.
  • Assist the EV Project Managers to compile the necessary hand over documentation for each project.
  • Any other reasonable request in line with this role given by the EV Operations Manager.
