Job Title: Evaluation and Impact Assessment Manager

Location: The Acre, Covent Garden, London - Hybrid working, 1 day per week in the office

Type: 6 Month Fixed Term Contract

We are hiring an Evaluation & Impact Assessment Manager to join BSI's Research & Intelligence team, where you will play a critical role in demonstrating the impact of standards, programmes, and strategic initiatives across the UK and internationally. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will lead and deliver robust evaluation and impact assessment projects, helping to evidence how BSI contributes to innovation, sustainability, resilience, and broader societal outcomes.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing specialist team and help shape BSI's approach to evaluation and impact assessment. You will work across a diverse portfolio of projects, combining quantitative and qualitative research methods, managing stakeholder relationships, developing compelling evidence and insights, and communicating impact to both internal and external audiences.

As BSI continues to build its evaluation capability, you will contribute to establishing best practice, embedding impact assessment across the organisation, and supporting the development of a Centre of Excellence for evaluation and impact measurement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage evaluation and impact assessment projects across standards, programmes, and strategic initiatives.
  • Design and deliver robust evaluation frameworks using qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders to define evaluation objectives, measures of success, and evidence requirements.
  • Develop and apply logic models and impact assessment approaches to demonstrate programme outcomes and value.
  • Ensure data collection, analysis, and reporting processes are rigorous, credible, and evidence-based.
  • Produce compelling reports, insights, and impact narratives tailored to senior leaders, clients, and external audiences.
  • Build strong relationships across BSI and with external clients, partners, and suppliers involved in evaluation activities.
  • Support the development and embedding of evaluation best practices, tools, and capability across the organisation.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
