Care Professional (Care Assistant) – Home Instead West Lothian

This role is UK-based. The right to work in the UK must be established as part of the recruitment process.

Job Description

At Home Instead West Lothian, we are seeking to grow our team of Care Assistants, with options for flexible hours and varied contracts.

At Home Instead, we deliver award-winning home care of the highest quality. Our Care Professionals are trained to ensure our clients can live independently in their own homes.

Entry Requirements

No prior experience or formal qualifications are required. We welcome applications from:

Responsibilities

  • Conduct minimum one-hour visits to clients’ homes
  • Provide introductions to new clients
  • Match clients with Care Professionals based on personality, interests, and hobbies
  • Deliver companionship-led care services
  • Help with shopping, household tasks, and meal preparation (from scratch!)
  • Build strong professional relationships
  • Offer varied non-medical support to help clients maintain independence
