Role Description
The Evening Cleaning Operative role is a part-time, on-site position based in Leyland. The role involves carrying out routine cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, emptying bins, and sanitizing high-touch surfaces in commercial, educational, and medical environments. The Evening Cleaning Operative will follow site-specific checklists, adhere to health and safety guidelines, and report any issues or maintenance needs to the supervisor. Reliability, good timekeeping, and the ability to work independently in the evening are essential.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform Commercial Cleaning tasks to a consistent standard, following set procedures and checklists.
- Skills in Window Cleaning, including safe use of appropriate tools and cleaning solutions.
- Experience in Home Cleaning or House Cleaning, with attention to detail across different room types and surfaces.
- Basic knowledge of Carpet care, including vacuuming and spot cleaning using suitable equipment.
- Understanding of health and safety practices, including safe handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Good communication skills and a professional, courteous approach when on client premises.
- Previous cleaning experience in commercial, educational, or medical settings is beneficial but not essential; training can be provided.
