Cleaning Supervisor – Milton Keynes
10 Hours per week

Start date: ASAP
Location: Milton Keynes
Time: 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm Monday to Friday
Contract: Permanent
The Opportunity
We’re on the lookout for a Cleaning Supervisor to oversee the safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery of services. You will be responsible for leading a team of cleaners, managing schedules, maintaining supplies, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Key Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of cleaning staff.
- Actively participate in cleaning tasks to maintain high standards and lead by example.
- Conduct regular site inspections and ensure compliance with hygiene and safety standards.
- Train and support staff in cleaning procedures, equipment use, and safety protocols.
- Manage cleaning supplies and equipment inventory.
- Prepare staff schedules and monitor attendance and performance.
- Respond to feedback and resolve service-related issues.
Communication
- Maintain clear and respectful communication with team members, and management.
- Provide regular feedback and guidance to staff to support performance and development.
- Handle concerns or conflicts professionally and constructively.
- Communicate cleaning standards and expectations effectively to ensure consistency.

Compliance & Safety
- Promote a safe working environment for all staff and visitors.
- Ensure proper use of PPE and cleaning equipment.
- Report hazards, accidents, and near-misses promptly.
- Provide training on manual handling, chemical safety, and emergency procedures.

You are a reliable, proactive individual with a strong work ethic and a passion for delivering top tier service, a person who is used to working in a fast-paced environment, who takes pride in leading a team, and is not afraid to roll up your sleeves and get involved in the work.
Essential:
- Supervisory experience leading a cleaning team
- A strong work ethic and commitment to excellent cleaning standards
- A positive, can-do attitude and great attention to detail
- Good communication skills and the ability to stay organised
- The ability to stay calm and focused under pressure
- Flexibility to adapt to changing tasks or schedules
