Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Evening Office Cleaner to join our team in Shirley, Solihull. This vital role ensures that our office environment remains clean, safe, and welcoming for staff and visitors alike. Working from Monday to Saturday for a total of 12 hours per week, you will play a key part in maintaining the professional appearance and hygiene standards of our workspace. If you take pride in your work, enjoy working independently, and have experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial duties, this is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a positive office environment.

Highland Road, Shirley, Solihull, B90 4GT

Hours of Work

  • Monday to Friday - 6:30pm to 8:30pm (2 hours a day)
  • Saturday - 5:00pm to 7:00pm (2 hours a day)
  • Total Hours - 12 Hours per week

Duties

  • Perform thorough cleaning of office areas, including desks, floors, windows, restrooms, and communal spaces to uphold cleanliness standards.
  • Use commercial cleaning equipment and supplies safely and efficiently to complete daily tasks.
  • Restock restroom supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and toilet paper as needed.
  • Dispose of waste and recycling materials responsibly, ensuring the workspace remains tidy at all times.
  • Follow health and safety protocols during cleaning procedures to prevent accidents or contamination.
  • Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning to the appropriate personnel promptly.
  • Maintain a detailed cleaning schedule and record completed tasks for accountability.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred.
  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment operation, and safety procedures.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure all areas are thoroughly cleaned.
  • Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and lifting supplies.
  • Reliable punctuality and a professional attitude are essential for this role.
