Company Description

Cybersweetie, founded in 2023 and based in London, creates eveningwear that blends timeless couture craftsmanship with modern, narrative-driven design. Inspired by the magic and symbolism of fairytales, each piece is conceived as wearable art for individuals who define their own story. The brand prioritizes traditional couture techniques, focusing on precise fit, luxurious materials, and exceptional finishing.

We're looking for a creative and detail-oriented Luxury Eveningwear Designer to join our design team. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for couture-inspired occasionwear and a strong understanding of silhouette, colour, embellishment and craftsmanship.

Working closely with the Founders and Head of Product Development, you'll be responsible for designing original eveningwear collections from initial concept through to production, ensuring every design reflects the Cybersweetie aesthetic.

Responsibilities

  • Design original luxury occasionwear and eveningwear, developing creative concepts from initial inspiration through to final production.
  • Explore vintage fashion, historical costume, art, culture and emerging trends to inform seasonal collections and new design ideas.
  • Create unique silhouettes, garment details, colour stories and embellishment concepts that reflect the Cybersweetie aesthetic.
  • Produce hand sketches, digital fashion illustrations, technical CADs and garment specifications to clearly communicate designs to manufacturers.
  • Develop detailed tech packs, including construction details, measurements, trim placements and embellishment layouts.
  • Design embroidery, hand-beading, appliqué and other decorative finishes suitable for luxury manufacturing.
  • Partner closely with the Founders and Head of Product Development to refine concepts and bring collections to life.
  • Communicate directly with overseas manufacturers, embroidery specialists and suppliers throughout sampling and production.
  • Coordinate the development process from initial design and material selection through sampling, prototype reviews and pre-production approval.
  • Assess prototypes, embroidery samples and strike-offs, providing precise feedback to ensure exceptional quality and accurate execution.
  • Attend fittings, evaluate fit, construction and finish, and recommend design or technical refinements where needed.
  • Source and research new fabrics, trims, embellishment techniques and craftsmanship methods to support future collections.
  • Keep design files, development records and seasonal research organised and up to date.
  • Work collaboratively across design and product development to balance creativity, quality, manufacturability and commercial viability.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
