We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Event and Marketing Coordinator to support the planning and execution of European conferences, workshops, online events, and external conference initiatives.

This role combines event management, marketing coordination, and operational support to ensure successful delivery of scientific content and events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate end-to-end planning and execution of in-person and virtual events, including user group meetings, workshops, and industry collaborations
  • Research and secure venues, accommodations, catering, and social event activities
  • Manage event budgets, contracts, deposits, registrations, and vendor relationships
  • Coordinate speakers, presentation schedules, abstracts, and event logistics
  • Maintain Salesforce campaign records, Google calendars, reports, and event documentation
  • Collaborate with internal marketing and other CCG teams for event promotions, mailings, and online content
  • Organize travel, shipping, rental equipment, and onsite event operations
  • Support virtual event delivery through online event platforms and webinar tools
  • Liaise with conference organizers and industry partners regarding participation opportunities and sponsorships
  • Prepare post-event reports, communications, and follow-up activities

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years experience in event coordination, conference management, and marketing activities
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple events, vendors, and logistics simultaneously
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and spreadsheet management
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with international teams and external partners
  • Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce and online event platforms is an asset
  • Experience supporting scientific, pharmaceutical, biotech, or technology-focused events is a plus
