Events Assistant Opportunity

C&C Search is currently recruiting an Events Assistant for a prestigious private equity investment firm, offering exceptional career progression, outstanding benefits, hybrid working, and a stunning Central London location. About the Role

Position: Events Assistant supporting the Head of Events

Salary: To £45,000 plus full benefits

Hybrid set up: Hybrid working, 3 days in the office and 2 days from home

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the planning and delivery of a busy programme of corporate events, investor events, internal events, and networking events
  • Coordinate event logistics including venues, accommodation, suppliers, invitations, guest communications, registrations, and attendee management
  • Manage RSVPs, guest lists, and event administration for a range of high-profile events
  • Provide on-site support at events and assist with the smooth running of each event from planning through to execution
  • Maintain and update the events calendar across multiple audiences and stakeholder groups
  • Support event budgeting, reporting, and tracking activity
  • Assist with website updates, internal communications, and social media scheduling
  • Help create presentations, marketing materials, event invitations, and event collateral
  • Maintain media and stakeholder databases
  • Build strong relationships with internal teams, Executive Assistants, and senior stakeholders

Background and Experience

The company is looking for candidates with:

  • Experience gained within events, hospitality, guest relations, communications, luxury service, or another client-facing environment
  • Outstanding organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail with a proactive and solutions-focused approach
  • Comfortable working with senior stakeholders and high-profile guests
  • Highly professional, polished, and discreet
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
  • Comfortable using technology and AI tools within daily workflows
  • Enthusiastic, resourceful, and eager to develop a career as an Events Assistant
  • A collaborative team player who can also work independently
