Job Title
We are seeking an Events Assistant to plan, coordinate, and deliver professional events, conferences, and webinars. This is a contract role starting in October through until February.
About the Role
Working closely with internal teams and external partners, you will ensure that each event supports the organisation’s business objectives, strengthens its reputation, and provides an excellent attendee experience. This role requires strong project management skills, clear communication, close attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver in-person events, conferences, and webinars from initial concept through to completion.
- Provide hands-on local and on-site event management support.
- Act as the primary liaison for venues, speakers, suppliers, attendees, and internal stakeholders.
- Research and secure suitable venues, vendors, and external suppliers.
- Coordinate event logistics, including catering, audio visual equipment, room setup, and breakdown.
- Manage attendee registration, RSVPs, communications, and on-site check-in.
- Support speakers before and during events, ensuring they have the information and resources required.
- Develop and distribute event materials, including invitations, programmes, and promotional content.

- Previous experience planning and delivering corporate events, conferences, or webinars.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong stakeholder-management and relationship-building abilities.
- Experience with attendee registration and event communication.
- The ability to remain calm, responsive, and solutions-focused in a fast-paced environment.
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to provide on-site support and work outside standard business hours when required.
