Hi 👋

We are working with a well established membership organisation to recruit an Events Assistant on a 6 month fixed term contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive individual with experience supporting the delivery of events. You will play a key role in coordinating a varied programme of member events, helping to ensure an excellent experience for attendees while supporting the wider team with event administration and logistics.

💥 As an Events Coordinator, you will:

  • Coordinate the planning and delivery of both virtual and in person events.
  • Manage event registrations, attendee communications and booking systems.
  • Liaise with venues, suppliers, speakers and internal stakeholders.
  • Prepare event materials, agendas and supporting documentation.
  • Support the promotion of events through email campaigns, websites and member communications.
  • Maintain accurate records and produce post event reports and feedback summaries.
  • Provide administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the events programme.

💥 What we're looking for:

  • Previous experience coordinating events, meetings, conferences or member activities.
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience managing multiple deadlines and priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office and event management systems.
  • Experience working within a membership body, professional association, charity or similar organisation would be beneficial.
