WFH / Office / Remote: Remote with onsite requirements

Start date: End of September 2026 (flexible)

A Surrey-based events agency is seeking a proactive and organised Event Assistant to support the delivery of live and virtual corporate events. This role involves coordinating logistics, researching venues, managing suppliers, assisting with client communications, preparing on-site materials, and supporting event delivery both remotely and on-site. It’s ideal for someone with at least two years’ event experience who enjoys fast-paced project work, has strong administrative skills, and is confident juggling multiple tasks across different stages of event production.

Responsibilities

  • Event logistics — Support coordination of travel, accommodation, and supplier liaison.
  • Venue research — Source venues and maintain supplier communication.
  • Project admin — Manage updates, trackers, documentation, and client communications.
  • Budget support — Assist with expenses, logging, tracking, and reconciliations.
  • Document preparation — Proofread, format, and prepare presentations and event materials.
  • Onsite preparation — Pack kit boxes, collate badges, and organise onsite documentation.
  • Onsite delivery — Support setup, live sessions, and troubleshooting.
  • Content creation — Create case studies, newsletters, and social content (depending on experience).
  • Website/social updates — Manage company website and social channels (if relevant).

Requirements

  • Minimum two years’ event experience
  • Strong organisation and admin skills
  • Clear communication and customer-facing confidence
