Events Administrator (Part-Time, Fixed-Term Contract)

Location: Hybrid (London-based office)

Contract: Fixed-Term Contract (5-6 months)

Hours: 2 days per week (approximately 14-15 hours)

Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 FTE (pro rata)

Start Date: ASAP

Our client is a respected professional membership body seeking an organised and proactive Events Administrator to support the delivery of a busy programme of member events, webinars, conferences and meetings.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administration skills and an interest in events to join a collaborative team and gain valuable experience within the membership sector.

The Role

Working closely with the Events Manager and wider Events Team, you will provide administrative support across the full event lifecycle, helping to ensure a positive experience for members, delegates, speakers and suppliers.

Key duties will include:

  • Setting up and maintaining event records within CRM and event management systems
  • Processing bookings, cancellations and delegate communications
  • Producing attendance reports and registration lists
  • Responding to member and delegate enquiries via email and telephone
  • Supporting speakers with biographies, presentations and event logistics
  • Assisting with venue, supplier and catering administration
  • Processing invoices and maintaining accurate financial records
  • Supporting event delivery, including registration and delegate administration where required
  • Maintaining accurate CRM records and general event documentation

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience in an events administration, membership administration or general administrative support role
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience providing high levels of customer service
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Experience maintaining databases, CRM systems or membership systems
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
