Events Assistant (Part-time/Flexible hours)
Key Purpose
To support the Head of Events and Marketing and the Event Coordinator in delivering a comprehensive programme of activities, events and activations across all of our food halls, in order to drive footfall, add value and create vibrant communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Event Research and Outreach: Conduct research, gather insights, and identify potential collaborators, partners, or talent suitable for upcoming events for all sites.
- Programme Delivery: Support the implementation of the events programme across all food halls, working closely with internal teams, including marketing, general managers and external partners.
- Event Logistics: Manage all event logistics, from planning to set up, execution and breakdown. Includes preparing detailed run sheets, conducting risk assessments, writing event descriptions, uploading events to websites, and creating listings on platforms.
- Operational Coordination: Work closely with operational colleagues to guarantee seamless event execution. Maintain oversight of team calendars and ensure clear, timely communication of schedules and responsibilities.
- Website Event Management: Upload planned events across all sites to the company websites, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely publication.
- Ticketing Administration: Create and upload event tickets on Eventbrite, maintaining correct event details, pricing, and scheduling
- Calendar and Web Audit: Cross-check internal calendars against website listings and regularly review the event breakdown to identify date gaps, inconsistencies, or missing information
- Design Briefing: Prepare clear, structured briefs for the design team, supplying all required information, deadlines, and creative direction for event-related assets.

- Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings (time off in lieu will be provided).

Additional Information
- Job Type: Part-time.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday (with flexibility required for events).
- Location: Onsite at Sheffield S3 8SE (applicants must reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work).
- Work Authorisation: Applicants must be authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
- Work Environment: In-Person.
