Role Description

The Event Champion role is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience across multiple commercial areas of the business. You’ll play a core role in driving local participation & community engagement with specific events in the Ultra Challenge calendar, getting to know events inside-out and proactively engaging new & existing partners. You’ll identify opportunities to engage local charities, businesses, running & sports clubs and other community networks that could benefit from getting involved with their local Ultra Challenge. Key to success in this role is building strong relationships and the ability to enthusiastically promote the events to potential participants, partners, volunteers & sponsors. You'll develop a strong understanding of the event itself by working with our experienced team, and have the opportunity to bring events to life first-hand. You’ll be encouraged to take initiative, develop your own ideas and you should feel motivated by seeing tangible results of your work.
