Event Communication Executive (4 Month FTC)
Location: Hybrid (2 office days per week) + international travel might be required subject to requirements
Type: Full-Time/Fixed Term Contract (4 Months)

Reporting to: Head of Customer Experience / Customer Experience Manager
About The Role
We're looking for a proactive and customer-focused Event Communication Executive to join our growing Customer Delivery team.
In this role, you'll be responsible for delivering a seamless communication experience for speakers and delegates attending our international conferences across the US and Europe. Acting as a key point of contact throughout the event lifecycle, you'll ensure customers receive accurate, timely and professional support from registration through to event delivery and beyond.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, managing multiple projects simultaneously and creating exceptional customer experiences within a fast-paced events environment.
What You'll Be Doing
As an Event Communication Executive, you'll play a central role in ensuring our customers feel informed, supported and engaged throughout their event journey.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing delegate and speaker communications throughout the event lifecycle.
- Acting as the primary point of contact for customer enquiries before, during and after events.
- Creating, proofreading and distributing event communications, including:
- Welcome information
- Programmes and agendas
- FAQs
- Venue and travel information
- Event updates
- Supporting speaker onboarding and ensuring speakers have everything they need to participate successfully.
- Responding to delegate and speaker enquiries, resolving issues and escalating risks where appropriate.
- Maintaining accurate customer records across CRM systems, event platforms and programme databases.
- Monitoring communication activity, engagement levels and customer feedback.
- Producing reports and sharing insights with internal stakeholders.
- Identifying opportunities to enhance communication processes and improve the overall customer experience.
- Ensuring all communications are professional, consistent and aligned with company brand standards.
- Collaborating closely with internal teams to ensure information is communicated accurately and deadlines are met.
- Tracking key project milestones and performance metrics.
- Providing administrative support, speaker briefings, crisis communications and on-site event support when required.

Experience & Qualifications
- Degree educated or equivalent qualification.
- An Events Management degree is desirable but not essential.
- Previous experience in events, customer service, communications or a customer-facing role would be advantageous.
