Part-Time Events Coordinator (9-Month Fixed-Term Maternity Cover)

We're looking for an organised and proactive Events Coordinator to join our growing Events team on a 9-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. This is a part-time role, working Tuesday to Thursday, offering an excellent opportunity to be part of a busy, collaborative team delivering a wide range of events.

You'll play a key role in supporting the planning, coordination and delivery of a wide range of client events, working closely with our Event Managers and Director of Events to ensure every project runs smoothly from initial enquiry through to successful delivery.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives on organisation, enjoys working with people, and loves seeing projects come together. If you're calm under pressure, highly organised and enjoy variety, we'd love to hear from you.

What will you be doing?

  • Supporting the planning and delivery of client events from initial enquiry through to completion
  • Researching venues and suppliers, preparing proposals and coordinating travel, accommodation and event logistics
  • Scheduling meetings, maintaining project timelines and keeping event calendars and project systems up to date
  • Managing event documentation, purchase orders, supplier information, invoices and budget administration
  • Providing operational support before, during and after events, working closely with internal teams to ensure everything is delivered on time and to a high standard

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
