Events Executive

Salary: £23,445 per annum (FTE £46,890)

Location: England, UK

Working Arrangement: Hybrid, with home working and regular attendance at the Teddington office

Hours: Part-time, 17.5 hours per week (2.5 days)

Overview

Our client, an international development charity, is seeking an Events Executive to plan and manage events and trips that strengthen relationships with donors, funders and other key stakeholders.

Working within a partnerships team, you will use events to create meaningful engagement with supporters and help develop relationships that contribute to fundraising activity. This is a relationship-focused role with scope to test new ideas and improve the organisation's approach to events and trips.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate and manage events within the partnerships programme.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders involved in events and engagement activity.
  • Help create opportunities for donors and funders to engage with the issues and projects they support.
  • Work with colleagues, technical specialists and senior stakeholders to support successful events.
  • Coordinate trips and other relationship-building activities.
  • Test new ideas and contribute to the ongoing development of the events programme.
  • Maintain strong organisation and attention to detail across multiple activities and stakeholder relationships.

  • Strong relationship-building skills and confidence working with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Proactive and self-motivated approach to managing events and relationships.
