Events Coordinator
We are looking for an exceptional Events Coordinator to become a key part of our growing team. This is a hands-on role that combines executive support with luxury event production, working directly alongside the Director to deliver high-profile events from concept through to execution.
A major focus of the role will be 1970 - The Dominican Republic Superyacht Rendezvous, an invitation-only luxury event bringing together superyacht owners, charter guests, partners and industry leaders for four nights and 3 days of world-class experiences, championship golf and exceptional Caribbean hospitality.
You'll help coordinate every element of the event—from luxury guest experiences and supplier management to logistics, timelines and on-site delivery—while also supporting the day-to-day operations of the business.
This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership, solving problems and turning ambitious ideas into seamless experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Executive & Business Support
- Support the Director with day-to-day administrative and operational tasks
- Manage calendars
- Prepare presentations, proposals and event documentation
- Track project timelines and ensure deadlines are met
- Coordinate internal communications and follow up on actions

Event Planning & Coordination
- Coordinate the planning and delivery of company events throughout the year
- Lead the organisation of event logistics, schedules and production plans
- Manage supplier communications, quotations and contracts
- Coordinate venues, catering, entertainment, branding and production
- Maintain detailed project plans and event checklists

You'll play a central role in bringing this flagship event to life by helping coordinate experiences such as:
- Exclusive evening events, including gala dinners and yacht parties
- Destination experiences across the Dominican Republic
- Guest itineraries and personalised schedules
- Sponsor activations and partner deliverables
- On-site event operations and guest management
Requirements
Skills & Experience
- You must be able to start immediately*
- Exceptionally organised with outstanding attention to detail
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities simultaneously
- A confident communicator with excellent written and verbal English
- Experienced in event planning or project coordination
- Proactive and able to work independently
- Calm under pressure and solutions-focused
- Confident using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Willing to travel internationally when required

Desirable
- Experience in luxury events, hospitality or the superyacht industry
- Experience coordinating VIP guests or high-net-worth clients
- Familiarity with event management platforms and project management tools
- Social media or content coordination experience
Travel
This role includes international travel, particularly to:
- Dominican Republic (event planning and on-site delivery)
- Monaco Yacht Show
- Other international events as required
