Event Coordinator & Administrator

Location: Manchester (Hybrid)
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Contract: 3-Month Fixed-Term Contract (with potential for extension or a permanent opportunity)
Hours: Full-Time (5 days per week). Occasional Saturday work may be required depending on event schedules.
Start Date: August/September 2026

About the Company

We are recruiting on behalf of a client seeking an organised and proactive Event Coordinator & Administrator to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with previous administrative or customer-facing experience who is looking to develop their career within events and operations.

Working in a hybrid environment, you'll split your time between home working and attending events on-site. Your working pattern will vary depending on the event schedule, making this a varied and rewarding role.

The Role

Working on behalf of a client we're representing, you'll play a key role in supporting the planning, organisation and delivery of events, while also providing day-to-day administrative support to ensure everything runs efficiently.

This role would suit someone who has gained experience in administration, customer service, hospitality, events or another fast-paced environment and is ready to take the next step in their career.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with planning and coordinating events from start to finish.
  • Liaise with venues, suppliers, clients and attendees.
  • Support event logistics, registrations and scheduling.
  • Attend events when required to provide on-site support.
  • Maintain accurate records and update internal systems.
  • Manage emails, calendars, document preparation and general administrative duties.
  • Prepare event materials and delegate packs.
  • Support the wider team with project coordination and operational tasks.
  • Deliver a professional and friendly service to clients and stakeholders.

About You

We're looking for someone who has:

  • Previous experience in an administrative, customer service, hospitality or events role.
  • Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Confident verbal and written communication skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to travel to event locations and occasionally work Saturdays when required.
