As we continue to grow, we’re looking for an Event Day Manager to join our operations team.
This is a hands-on role for someone who loves being organised, enjoys leading people and thrives in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.
Working alongside our existing Event Day Manager and reporting directly to the Operations Director, you’ll play a key role in delivering events across Scotland and helping maintain the high standards we’re known for.
The Role
Your primary responsibility is delivering outstanding event days.
You’ll be the main operational lead on the ground, ensuring every event is set up safely, runs smoothly and provides an exceptional experience for our participants.
Away from event days, you’ll be responsible for preparing equipment, staffing, managing stock, organising company vehicles and supporting the wider operations team to ensure every event is ready to go.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead race-day operations across Scotland
- Manage and brief event staff and volunteers
- Act as the main operational point of contact on event day
- Deliver event builds and breakdowns
- Prepare equipment and stock for upcoming events
- Manage company vehicles and event logistics
- Ensure all equipment is maintained and event-ready
- Work closely with the Operations Director and wider team
- Resolve operational challenges quickly and confidently
- Help continually improve the delivery of our events

A Typical Week
Every week looks a little different, but a typical week might include:

1 day working from home
Planning upcoming events, completing admin, ordering stock and supporting operational planning. -
2 days at our Blantyre operations unit
Preparing equipment, organising stock, loading vans, maintaining event assets and ensuring everything is ready for race day. -
2 days on event site
Leading event-day operations, managing staff, solving problems and delivering outstanding experiences for thousands of participants.

Essential Requirements
- Full UK driving licence
- Comfortable driving company vans
- Willing to travel throughout Scotland
- Available to work weekends
- Strong organisational and leadership skills
- Excellent communication and people skills
Working Pattern
This role is based around our event calendar, so weekend working is essential.
Saturday and Sunday are your primary working days.
Your two days off will be taken during the week.
Early starts are a regular part of race days.
You’ll regularly travel across Scotland to deliver events.
During the week, you’ll work from our operations unit in Blantyre and from home as required.
