🚀 Hiring: Event Director | Relocating to Berlin | £50,000-£55,000 + Bonus + Equity
I'm working with a fast-growing organisation at the forefront of Deep Tech and AI innovation, looking for an experienced Event Director to lead the operational delivery of large-scale international events.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives on creating exceptional event experiences, building teams, and owning the full operational journey from planning through to execution.
📍 Location: Berlin (relocation considered)
💷 Salary: £50,000-£55,000 + performance-related bonus + equity

- Leading and growing an event operations team
- Managing the delivery of a 6,000+ attendee flagship event
- Overseeing logistics, suppliers, venue operations, catering, AV, registration, and attendee experience
- Owning budgets, forecasting, cost management, and event profitability
- Negotiating with suppliers and managing key partnerships
- Working closely with Sales, Marketing, Content, and Product teams to deliver outstanding outcomes
About You:
We're looking for someone with:
- 5+ years' experience delivering large-scale conferences or trade shows (2,000+ attendees)
- Strong operational leadership and team management experience
- A proven track record of managing suppliers, budgets, and complex event delivery
- Commercial awareness with experience owning P&L responsibilities
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
