RATE OF PAY - £14.13 per hour plus Incentives and excellent benefits!
HOURS – 37.5 hours over 5 days
LOCATION – Newport, NP18 1HQ

About the Role
As an Event Executive, you’ll be at the heart of our conference and events operation, promoting, coordinating and delivering event experiences that truly stand out. You’ll build strong relationships with clients, showcase our leading facilities, and use your sales skills to secure business that supports the Resort’s continued success.
From client show‑rounds to creating accurate BEOs, from coordinating event details to ensuring every guest receives exceptional service, you’ll be central to making each event seamless, professional and memorable.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Promoting and selling all Resort facilities to achieve departmental and Resort budgets
- Using effective sales techniques to convert enquiries to confirmed bookings
- Coordinating all event-related administration including quotations and contracts
- Conducting professional client appointments and Resort show‑rounds
- Building strong relationships across internal departments
- Ensuring standards, controls and processes are consistently met
- Participating in audits, training, team activities and continuous improvement initiatives
- Contributing to the positive, high‑performance culture of the Events team

What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- Strong sales ability with excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Confident negotiator with strong IT and organisational skills
- Experience in a sales‑focused or guest‑facing role
- Ability to work independently and as part of a fast‑paced team
- A genuine interest in the events and hospitality industry
Desirable:
- Experience in event sales or similar roles within hotels or venues
- Qualifications in Event Management, Hospitality or related areas
- Experience building proposals and client contracts
