C2events is an event management specialist with over 22 years of experience delivering meetings and events ranging from small gatherings to large-scale conferences with more than 2,000 attendees. The organisation manages a wide variety of events, including product launches, sales conferences, educational meetings, congresses, and clinical trial meetings, across numerous global destinations.

C2events provides end-to-end services such as venue finding, travel and delegate management, communications, onsite delivery, and event technology solutions, all supported by strong contract negotiation and budget control. The company has deep expertise in pharmaceutical and healthcare events and is highly knowledgeable about UK and international regulatory and compliance requirements.

Role Description

The Event Executive is a full-time, hybrid role based in Wakefield, with flexibility for partial work from home. This position is responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and delivery of live and virtual events, including venue sourcing, supplier liaison, delegate registration, and travel arrangements.

Day-to-day tasks include maintaining project timelines, preparing event documentation, managing event data in relevant software and apps, and providing clear communication to clients, delegates, and internal teams. The Event Executive will assist with on-site event delivery, including registration, logistics, and production coordination, helping ensure smooth execution and a positive attendee experience.

The role also involves monitoring budgets, preparing reports on event performance and ROI/ROO, and contributing ideas to enhance delegate engagement and event quality.

Qualifications

  • Experience in event coordination or event management, including planning, logistics, and onsite delivery.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client, supplier, and delegate interaction.
  • Proficiency with event management software, virtual event platforms, and standard office applications (e.g., MS Office).
  • Comfort working with budgets, contracts, and supplier negotiations to support cost-effective event delivery.
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, collaborating in the Wakefield office and independently from home.
  • Customer-focused mindset, with attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality delegate experiences.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare events and familiarity with compliance and regulatory frameworks is an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel for onsite event support and work flexible hours when required by event schedules.
  • Relevant education or training in event management, hospitality, marketing, or a related field is beneficial.
