The Role

The Event Executive is responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and delivery of conferences, meetings, exhibitions, banqueting, and hospitality events, ensuring an exceptional client experience and seamless operational execution. The role independently manages conference and banqueting events valued under £10,000, while supporting Event Managers on larger events, acting as a key liaison between clients, internal teams, and suppliers to ensure successful event delivery.

The Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and deliver events by managing client requirements, preparing Event Banqueting Orders (EBOs), event timelines, and operational briefs, and supporting the successful execution of conferences, meetings, exhibitions, and hospitality functions.
  • Manage client relationships throughout the event lifecycle, conducting client communications, meetings, and site visits, ensuring requirements are understood, communicated, and delivered to a high standard.
  • Provide comprehensive event administration, maintaining accurate event records, contracts, correspondence, and booking system information, while preparing operational documentation such as floorplans, staffing schedules, and setup instructions.
  • Support on-site event delivery, acting as a client contact, coordinating with Catering, Operations, Technical, and Front of House teams, and ensuring event setups meet agreed specifications.
  • Drive client satisfaction and business growth, gathering post-event feedback, identifying opportunities for repeat business, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers, ensuring all services, contractors, and stakeholders contribute effectively to the successful delivery of events.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
