Quakers - a faith group committed to working for equality and peace – are looking for a permanent Event Executive to help deliver exceptional conferences, meetings and events at Friends House, London.
Key Responsibilities
- Acting as the primary contact for clients once events are confirmed, ensuring all details are planned and delivered successfully.
- Coordinating with internal teams (Operations, Facilities, Catering and AV) to ensure client requirements are met.
- Preparing and maintaining clear event documentation, including function sheets and setup details.
- Providing on-site client support during events to ensure excellent customer service.
- Working towards departmental financial targets and identifying opportunities to up-sell services during planning.
- Gathering post-event feedback to support service improvement and client satisfaction.
- Maintaining accurate event data in venue booking systems and assist with reporting.
- Building strong relationships with repeat clients and identifying opportunities for future business.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across the Commercial Team to maintain high service standards.
- Supporting the wider team during quieter periods with other operational duties if required.

Skills and Experience
- Experience in event coordination, conferencing or hospitality environments.
- Experience working directly with clients and coordinating internal teams.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail and proactive problem-solving ability.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and venue booking systems.
- Awareness of hospitality service standards and event operations.
- Sympathetic to Quaker values and ethos (you do not need to be a Quaker).

Salary: £32,323 + £5,000 (London weighting).
Contract and Hours: Permanent, full-time, 35 hours per week. Typically, 5 days per week, including occasional early mornings, evenings or weekends depending on event schedules.
Location: Friends House, Euston Road, London, NW1 2BJ.
