This position is Full time (40 Hours) and is based at the Marriott Worsley Park Hotel and Country Club M28 2QT.

Worsley Park attracts numerous events including weddings, conferences, leisure and golf bookings as well as many high-profile sports teams. Our team of on-property Events Sales Executives specialise in supporting the organisation of such events to provide peace of mind in knowing that their event will be well organised and smoothly executed.
Summary of the role
- Manage event enquiries and bookings from initial enquiry through to event handover, acting as the main point of contact for clients throughout the planning process.
- Maximise sales opportunities by converting enquiries and promoting hotel facilities and services.
- Prepare accurate event documentation, including proposals, contracts, and Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), ensuring all guest requirements are clearly recorded and communicated.
- Build strong relationships with clients, regular bookers, and key accounts to encourage customer retention and repeat business.
- Liaise closely with operational teams to ensure the smooth and successful delivery of events and proactively resolve any potential challenges.
- Maintain accurate booking and customer information within company systems, following all relevant procedures and standards.
- Support sales and promotional activity, including wedding fairs, site visits, trips, mailings, and other on- and off-site events.
- Monitor enquiries, business levels, and competitor activity, providing relevant information and updates to the Senior Event Manager.
- Maintain excellent knowledge of the hotel, function spaces, capacities, services, promotions, and revenue opportunities.
- Support the wider Events and Sales team as required, contributing to the smooth running of the department.
- Participate in relevant training and development opportunities.
- To carry out any other reasonable tasks as requested by management.
