Are you an experienced events professional who enjoys bringing people together and making sure everything runs seamlessly behind the scenes?
We’re recruiting an Events Executive on behalf of our client, an established professional services business based in Bristol. This is an opportunity to take ownership of a growing programme of events, from client and networking events through to thought leadership evenings and community gatherings.
Working as part of the marketing team, you’ll manage events from initial planning through to delivery and follow-up, collaborating with colleagues across the business as well as venues, suppliers, speakers and external partners.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll take responsibility for the planning, coordination and delivery of a varied events programme.
Your role will include:
- Planning events from concept through to completion and post-event follow-up
- Sourcing venues and coordinating suppliers and external partners
- Managing event logistics, budgets and administration
- Overseeing guest lists, invitations and registrations
- Coordinating speakers and preparing event materials
- Managing attendee communications and ensuring a positive guest experience
- Supporting on-the-day delivery and resolving any issues that arise
- Capturing post-event information and maintaining accurate CRM records
- Helping evaluate the impact and outcomes of events
- Looking for ways to improve event processes as the programme continues to grow

The role is based in Bristol, with occasional travel to other company offices and event venues.
What we’re looking for
You’ll need previous experience coordinating events, conferences, hospitality, client events or professional networking activities.
More importantly, you’ll be someone who is highly organised, proactive and comfortable taking ownership. You’ll enjoy managing several priorities at once, building good relationships and keeping a close eye on the details without losing sight of the overall purpose of an event.
You’ll also bring:

- Confidence working with colleagues, suppliers and senior stakeholders
- Clear and professional communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- A calm and practical approach when plans or priorities change
- The ability to manage multiple events and deadlines effectively

Experience using event management, CRM or marketing systems would be useful, but isn’t essential. Experience gained within professional services would also be beneficial rather than a requirement.

Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 depending on experience
Location: Bristol, with occasional travel to other offices and event venues
Contract: Permanent, full-time
