Events Executive

Membership Bespoke is recruiting an Events Executive for a leading trade association representing businesses across the UK’s infrastructure and built environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive events professional who enjoys delivering varied events, building stakeholder relationships and contributing ideas to grow an events programme.
The Role
Reporting to the Director of Membership & Events, you will support the planning and delivery of conferences, awards, dinners, webinars and networking events. You will also coordinate working groups and forums, support sponsors and help identify opportunities to improve delegate engagement and commercial performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning and delivery of conferences, awards, dinners, forums, webinars and networking events.
- Coordinate venues, suppliers, speakers, sponsors and delegates.
- Manage event communications, registrations and the attendee experience.
- Support onsite delivery, ensuring events run smoothly and professionally.
- Gather post-event feedback and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Support the development and delivery of sponsorship packages, ensuring agreed benefits are fulfilled.
- Source suppliers and negotiate competitive pricing while maintaining high service standards.
- Contribute ideas to improve event formats, increase engagement and generate revenue.
- Coordinate working groups, forums and leadership networks, including meeting logistics, communications and supporting documentation.
- Build strong relationships with members, sponsors, speakers and industry stakeholders.

About You
You will have experience in event management, project coordination or stakeholder engagement, alongside excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
You will also bring:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Confidence building relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, including senior industry leaders.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- An interest in developing new ideas and continuously improving events and attendee experiences.
