📍 Wakefield, UK (Hybrid) | 💷 £26,000-£28,000 DOE | ✈️ UK & International Travel Opportunities
Are you looking to launch your career in events and gain hands-on experience delivering meetings and events across the UK and internationally? At C2events, we're seeking an Event Executive to join our growing team in Wakefield. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with early career experience in events, hospitality, agency, or project support who is eager to learn and develop within a fast-paced, global events environment.
As an Event Executive, you'll play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of client events, working alongside experienced project managers on everything from delegate management and event technology to venue sourcing and on-site event execution. You'll gain exposure to the full event lifecycle while building valuable skills in client service, project coordination, data management, and event operations.

What You'll Be Doing
- Building and managing event registration websites and mobile apps (Cvent)
- Coordinating delegate communications and registration processes
- Managing attendee and invitation lists, reporting, and data accuracy
- Researching venues and preparing proposals for client consideration
- Supporting travel logistics and attendee management
- Assisting with event administration, reporting, and project coordination
- Providing on-site support at client events in the UK and overseas
- Working closely with clients, suppliers, and internal project teams to deliver exceptional event experiences
What We're Looking For
- Degree in Events Management or a related discipline, or equivalent event/hospitality experience
- Strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Confidence working with Excel and managing data
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A proactive, team-oriented attitude and willingness to learn
- Flexibility to travel and support events both within the UK and internationally
