Event Executive

We’re looking for a proactive Event Executive to help deliver exceptional conferences, meetings and events at Friends House. You’ll play a key role in ensuring a seamless client experience from planning through to delivery, coordinating with internal teams and acting as the main point of contact for clients throughout the event process.

Working closely with the Events Manager and the wider Commercial Team, you’ll ensure every event runs smoothly while supporting the venue’s reputation for excellent service, hospitality and values-led operations.

What you’ll do:

  • Act as the primary contact for clients once events are confirmed, ensuring all details are planned and delivered successfully
  • Coordinate with internal teams (Operations, Facilities, Catering and AV) to ensure client requirements are met
  • Prepare and maintain clear event documentation, including function sheets and setup details
  • Provide on-site client support during events to ensure excellent customer service
  • Work towards departmental financial targets and identify opportunities to up-sell services during planning
  • Gather post-event feedback to support service improvement and client satisfaction
  • Maintain accurate event data in venue booking systems and assist with reporting
  • Build strong relationships with repeat clients and identify opportunities for future business
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across the Commercial Team to maintain high service standards
  • Support the wider team during quieter periods with other operational duties, if required

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
