The Role

Are you an event visionary with a passion for high-energy entertainment ready to create unforgettable spectator moments trackside? We are looking for an Event Experience Manager to join Formula E and help deliver world-class guest experiences, ceremonies, and fan zones across our global race calendar.

In this dynamic role, you will:

  • Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of Fan Villages, entertainment, and ceremonies, balancing creative concepts with on-the-ground operational precision to put the guest experience at the heart of every decision.
  • Drive the Global Event Vision: Create and execute comprehensive event plans for spectator spaces, including Fan Villages, stage ceremonies, podiums, and live entertainment, blending global brand identity with local city cultures.
  • Deliver Immersive Fan Villages: Partner with international agencies to oversee Fan Zones from initial briefing and conceptual design through to build, live operations, and post-event analysis in complex city-centre locations.
  • Orchestrate Ceremonies & Live Spectacle: Drive the creative development and live execution of all ceremonial aspects, including podium celebrations, opening/closing shows, pre-race entertainment, driver meet-and-greets, and trackside activations.
  • Champion Partner & Operational Integration: Manage partner activations, public food & beverage operations, and spectator services, aligning cross-departmental flows, accessibility, and sustainability compliance across the site.
  • Maintain Financial & Strategic Control: Take full ownership of substantial event budgets, handling procurement, purchase orders, artwork briefs, and post-event debriefs to ensure continuous improvement and compliance.

What we're looking for in you

  • The Live Experience Specialist: Bring extensive experience delivering large-scale, mass-participation live events, music or food festivals, or sports fan zones, ideally with a background in greenfield or complex city-centre sites.
  • The Operational & Production Master: Possess deep production knowledge, spanning AV, logistics, scheduling, and Health & Safety, with optional show calling or stage management experience to handle high-stakes live activity.
  • The Agile Leader & Budget Manager: Be a proven manager adept at steering international agencies, large cross-functional teams, and substantial budgets under tight timelines and fast-paced conditions.
  • The Global Collaborator: Be an exceptional communicator who builds seamless relationships with internal teams, external contractors, and city partners while thriving on international travel.

This is a hybrid role and you'll be required to do 3 days a week in our Hammersmith, London office.
