About The Role

Event Labourer roles are available in Birmingham through Pertemps Solihull, paying £12.71 per hour on a temporary, flexible basis. This position involves supporting event setup and breakdown, with ad hoc hours covering early and late shifts.

We are looking for reliable and hardworking Event Labourers to join our team on an ad hoc basis, supporting the setup and breakdown of events.

Duties

The Role

This is a physically active role involving the movement, loading and setup of event furniture and equipment. Duties may include:

  • Offloading furniture and equipment from vans.
  • Setting up benches, tables, chairs and other furniture.
  • Moving and positioning furniture around event venues.
  • Manual lifting and carrying of furniture and equipment.
  • Assisting with event setup and breakdown.
  • Walking between different areas of event sites and being on your feet for extended periods.
  • Following instructions from supervisors and working as part of a team.
  • Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment.

What We're Looking For
