Events Manager – 9-12 month maternity cover role in major international law firm. London based with hybrid working of 3 days in the office. Mid-September start.

This ambitious mid-sized international law firm is top of its game in a number of niche areas and boasts a down to earth culture where you can really make your mark.

Role Overview

Reporting to the Senior Events Manager, this Events Manager role will cover maternity leave for 9-12 months, working with the BD team on a range of client events. On a day-to-day basis, the role will involve:

  • Working with lawyers and the BD team to understand their objectives and develop event plans;
  • Planning and delivering a range of events, such as seminars, drinks receptions, conferences and hospitality events;
  • Supporting on large flagship events and internal events, where needed;
  • Sourcing and maintaining relationships with venues and suppliers;
  • Managing the event invite process, drafting event comms and using the CRM to track attendees;
  • Gathering feedback and data for post-event summaries.

Ideal Candidate

Ideally you will be an experienced Events Manager from legal, but the firm are open to considering candidates from wider professional services. They are also open to Senior Executives who have been at that level for a few years and are ready to step up.
