Event Manager

About Us

At Golf Traveller, we are redefining how golf travel is experienced. We craft extraordinary golf travel experiences for the world's most discerning golfers, from elite private clubs and high-net-worth individuals to luxury travel advisors and corporate partners.

Our values aren't just words on a wall - they're the foundation of how we work: Excellence | Passion | Integrity | Ambition | Innovation | Authenticity

About the Opportunity: Event Manager

We're looking for an experienced Event Manager to shape how Golf Traveller brings people together, from intimate partner activations to large-scale international programmes for the world's most discerning travellers. Reporting to our Executive Director of Operations, you'll turn ambitious ideas into flawless, memorable moments on the ground, working within our Fulfilment vertical and touching every one of our four business streams along the way.

You'll deliver numerous events throughout the year, with a remit spanning four distinct event types:

  • Partner events: golf days at industry gatherings such as ILTM, and activations that support audience engagement and brand activation. You'll often work closely with our Sales and Marketing teams to bring these to life.
  • Bespoke group travel programmes: large, multi-night international travel experiences for our discerning guests.
  • Internal events: company retreats, invitational events and internal get-togethers.
  • Major global golf events: leading the delivery at events such as The Open Championship and The Ryder Cup, including guest hospitality, partner programmes and on-site delivery.

You will start by supporting the Product team as they design and build world-class event programmes, then work closely with our Fulfilment team (Operations and Guest Experience) to lead delivery through to the guest's departure, closing each programme with a post-event report. Golf Traveller is a fast-growing, international business, and this role calls for regular global travel, a flexible approach to working hours, and a genuine can-do attitude.

Key Responsibilities

  • Programme Design Support: Partner with the Product team during the design and build phase of event programmes, bringing an operational lens to itinerary and logistics planning before handover.
  • End-to-End Event Delivery: Own the delivery of assigned international events and bespoke group travel programmes from handover through to guest departure, working closely with Operations and Guest Experience.
  • Partner & Sales Event Execution: Deliver partner events and sales activations — including golf days at industry events such as ILTM, that support audience engagement and brand positioning.
  • Event Logistics & On-Site Materials: Own attendee administration and on-the-ground materials for partner and sales events - from invite lists and event communications to printed collateral, partner branding and photography - liaising with agencies and suppliers as needed.
  • Internal Event Planning: Plan and deliver internal events — including company retreats, invitational events and staff get-togethers, in close collaboration with our Product and Management teams.
  • Live Budget Management: Take ownership of the staffing and guest gifting budget for each event sold in advance, keeping a close eye on spend so delivery stays true to the budget at point of sale.
  • Supplier & Stakeholder Management: Build and manage relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure every itinerary element meets our quality and exclusivity standards.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Work seamlessly across Product, Operations and Guest Experience to ensure a consistent, high-end guest experience across our four business streams.
  • Crisis Management: Handle unexpected changes or emergencies calmly and proactively, minimising disruption during live events.
  • Post-Event Reporting: Close out each programme with a clear post-event report, capturing what worked and what to improve next time.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
