Job Title: Event Operations Specialist
Location: London, UK | Hybrid working
Hourly Rate: £30.29
Contract duration: 6 Months
About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Event Operations Specialist to support the planning and delivery of high-profile onsite events, employee engagement activities, and community programmes within a fast-paced corporate environment. This is a hands-on role focused on the end-to-end execution of events, ensuring an exceptional attendee experience while coordinating with multiple internal teams and external suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
Event Operations
- Deliver end-to-end execution of onsite events, from planning through to post-event reporting.
- Manage event logistics, including venue setup, AV requirements, catering, facilities, signage, and supplier coordination.
- Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure seamless event delivery.
- Maintain event calendars, project plans, run sheets, and operational documentation.
- Collect attendee feedback and event data to identify areas for improvement.
- Support the development and maintenance of event processes and best-practice guides.
- Manage supplier relationships and ensure successful event delivery.

Procurement & Budget Support
- Support supplier onboarding and procurement processes.
- Raise and manage purchase requisitions and purchase orders.
- Assist with budget tracking, invoice reconciliation, and spend reporting.
- Resolve supplier and procurement-related queries in a timely manner.
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience in event operations, event production, or a similar role.
- Proven experience managing multiple events simultaneously from planning through execution.
- Strong stakeholder management and supplier coordination skills.
- Excellent organisational and project management abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.
- Degree in Events Management, Business, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.

Desirable Experience
- Experience supporting procurement or source-to-pay processes.
- Background working within a large corporate or technology environment.
- Knowledge of event CRM systems and event reporting tools.
- Experience delivering events across multiple locations or regions.
- Graphic design or event communications experience.
